Google’s Broadcast feature allows you to record a message on your phone or speaker and play it back instantly across all the Google smart speakers in your home. Here is how to use it.
How to Broadcast from a Nest Speaker
Just say: “Hey Google, broadcast [your message].” For example, “Hey Google, broadcast dinner is ready!” Google will chime and play your recorded voice on every speaker linked to your home network.
Built-In Google Broadcast Templates
Google Home has pre-recorded sound effects for common announcements. If you say these phrases, Google will play a bell or alert sound followed by a polite voice announcement:
- Wake up: “Hey Google, broadcast wake up everyone.”
